She said studies indicate at least 1 in 5 teens <br /> between ages 12-18 suffer from at least one diagnosable mental health disorder, pre- <br /> pandemic. She said over the past year, student support services teams have provided 131,400 <br /> personal contacts with students and families, and secondary students universally noted the <br /> need for support in this area. She said there are several data points that support this <br /> expansion, which truly supports a whole child approach to a high quality learning experience for <br /> students.
