In order to re-appropriate these prior <br /> budgeted funds, a fund balance appropriation of $166,571 from the General Fund needs <br /> to be approved. This budget amendment provides for the fund balance appropriation of <br /> $166,571 from the General Fund to cover the costs of these renovations. At its May 18, 2021 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners approved a construction <br /> contract with C.T. Wilson Construction Company, Inc. in the not to exceed amount of <br /> $740,867. As noted in the agenda abstract at that meeting, budget ordinance amendments <br /> would be included as part of this Budget Amendment #13 abstract in order to re-purpose <br /> existing funds between the affected existing capital projects.
