Advisory Boards and Commissions —Appointments <br /> 2 The Board approved the Advisory Boards and Commissions appointments as reviewed and <br /> 3 discussed during the April 22, 2021 Work Session. <br /> 4 L Approval of a Resolution Authorizing a Revision in the Resolution Adopted May 5, <br /> 5 2016 Which Authorized the Orange County FY 2016-2017 HOME Program Design <br /> 6 The Board approved a revision in the resolution adopted May 5, 2016 which authorized the <br /> 7 Orange County FY 2016-2017 HOME Program Design. <br /> 8 j. Proposed Orange County FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan and HOME Activities <br /> 9 The Board: <br /> 10 1) Adopted a Resolution, which is incorporated by reference, authorizing submission of the <br /> 11 FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan; <br /> 12 2) Adopted a Resolution, which is incorporated by reference, approving the proposed <br /> 13 HOME Program Activities for FY 2021-2022; and <br /> 14 3) Authorized the County Manager to implement the HOME Program as approved by the <br /> 15 BOCC, including the ability to execute agreements with partnering nonprofit organizations after <br /> 16 consultation with the County Attorney and based on the allocation received from HUD <br /> 17 k. Refund Request— Lake Orange, Inc. <br /> 18 The Board denied a refund request submitted by Attorney Steve Yuhasz on behalf of Lake <br /> 19 Orange, Inc. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 9. County Manager's Report <br /> 22 Bonnie Hammersley said staff is working to reopen county buildings to the public. She <br /> 23 said the Deputy County Manager is assisting with developing a plan. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> 26 John Roberts said this is the last week for filing bills in the legislature. He said he will <br /> 27 keep the Board informed. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 11. *Appointments <br /> 30 <br /> 31 a. Arts Commission —Appointment Discussion <br /> 32 The Board discussed an appointment to the Arts Commission. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 BACKGROUND: The following appointment information is for Board consideration. <br /> 35 <br /> NAME SPECIAL TYPE OF EXPIRATION <br /> REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENT DATE <br /> TERM <br /> Sarah Shore At-Large First Full Term 03/31/2024 <br /> 36 <br /> 37 NOTE - If the individual listed above is appointed, the following vacancies remain: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 None <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Tara May, Deputy Clerk, introduced the item, and updated the Commissioners on the <br /> 42 Applicant's desire to not be appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission. She said the <br /> 43 applicant would still like to be appointed to the Arts Commission. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 A motion was made by Commissioner Bedford, seconded by Commissioner Greene, to <br /> 46 appoint Sarah Shore to the Arts Commission. <br />
