The float wire pivot points shall be <br /> secured with durable straps such as all stainless-steel clamps or equivalent. The floats should be strapped to a 2"removable PVC <br /> pipe sleeve located over a smaller diameter weighted standpipe. The floats shall be adjustable and replaceable without entering <br /> the tank or removing the pump. The pump off level shall be set to keep the pump submerged. <br /> ➢ Pipe penetrations shall be through approved flexible boots or sleeves. The riser and conduit shall be sealed to the tank with pliable <br /> mastic followed by a troweled coat of hydraulic cement. <br /> All piping shall be Schedule 40 minimum PVC. All fittings shall be PVC pressure fittings labeled NSF-PW. Valves and unions <br /> shall be located within 18"of the riser cover and should be Schedule 80 or equal. <br />
