Town of Carrboro Resolution Craig Benedict, Director, 919-245-2575 <br /> 2. 2021 SAPFOTAC Annual Report Ashley Moncado, Planner II, 919-245-2589 <br /> 3. 11 x17 Copies of Student Projection Charts <br /> PURPOSE: To approve and certify the 2021 Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br /> Technical Advisory Committee (SAPFOTAC) Report. <br /> BACKGROUND: At the December 15, 2020 Board of County Commissioners' meeting, the <br /> Board approved the November 13, 2020 actual membership and capacity numbers for both <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) and Orange County Schools (OCS). Additional <br /> approvals/certifications, as outlined in the table below, are required by the SAPFO partners <br /> MOUs (Memoranda of Understanding). At the March 16, 2021 BOCC meeting, the Board <br /> received for transmittal the draft 2021 SAPFOTAC Report. A letter and the Executive Summary <br /> of the Report were sent to all SAPFO partners advising them of the availability of the draft <br /> Report and inviting comments. Comments were requested for submission by April 16, 2021. <br /> The Carrboro Town Council received the draft 2021 SAPFOTAC Report at its April 13 meeting <br /> and approved the Resolution contained in Attachment 1. The Chapel Hill Town Council received <br /> the draft report on April 7 and the Town of Hillsborough Commissioners received the report at <br /> their April 12 meeting. No comments were received. Orange County School staff shared the <br /> draft 2021 SAPFOTAC Report with the Board of Education via email and no comments were <br /> received. <br /> The exact pages of the 2021 SAPFOTAC Report that the BOCC will be acknowledging and <br /> certifying are listed below.
