(All other staff members will be identified <br /> 18 appropriately below) <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Chair Price called the Board of County Commissioners meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners is conducting a <br /> 23 Virtual Work Session on April 22, 2021 utilizing Zoom. Members of the Board of Commissioners <br /> 24 will be participating in the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, members of the public will be <br /> 25 able to view and listen to the meeting via live streaming video at <br /> 26 orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on Orange County Gov-TV on channels 1301 or <br /> 27 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). <br /> 28 <br /> 29 A roll call of the County Commissioners was called; Commissioners McKee and Dorosin <br /> 30 were absent. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Laura Jensen introduced Assistant Deputy Clerk to the Board Crystal Long to the <br /> 33 Commissioners. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 1. Volunteer Advisory Boards and Commissions —Annual Work Plan Summaries <br /> 36 <br /> 37 The Board provided feedback and/or direction on the second group of boards and <br /> 38 commissions' annual work plan summaries with their Chairs (or representatives) in attendance. <br /> 39 (The first group of boards and commissions' annual work plan summaries were presented at the <br /> 40 Board's March 9, 2021 work session.) <br /> 41 <br /> 42 BACKGROUND: <br /> 43 In the past, as part of the Board of Commissioners' annual planning and goal setting retreats, <br /> 44 the Board requested and reviewed/provided feedback on annual plan summaries from the <br /> 45 County's internal advisory boards and commissions. This information provided the Board with a <br /> 46 yearly overview of the boards and commissions and their projected goals for the upcoming year. <br /> 47 This particular process ended in 2007. The Board decided at its April 13, 2010 meeting to <br /> 48 reinstate this process independent of the Board's annual retreats. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 <br />
