E) Natural Buffers If there is existing, healthy, natural vegetation in the area of a required ffer, it must be preserved. If the vegetation is removed for any reason, o r than in a ordance with an approved landscape and tree preservatio an, the dime 'ons of the buffer shall be increased 50% and the ber of required plantings II be increased 50%. (2) The critical root es of trees within the buffer st be protected if the applicant seeks credit for pres ation of existing tree .
