Article 5: Uses 235 <br /> Section 5.18: Standards for Assembly Uses <br /> In addition to the information required by Section 2.7 or 2.9, as applicable„ the <br /> following information shall be supplied as part of the application for approval of <br /> this use: <br /> (a) A description of the exact type of facility planned, the size of the buoing, <br /> the number of participants; a signed statement from the owners r <br /> operators that the facility will be operated by a non-profit or ization. <br /> (b A site plan showing the location of the existing and pro sed buildings, <br /> access points, parking, service areas, and outdoor creation areas. <br /> (c) Bui i g plans for all existing or proposed stru res. <br /> (d) Landsca Ian, at the same scale as th ite plan, showing existing or <br /> proposed tre shrubs, ground cover d any other landscape <br /> materials. <br /> (2) Standards of Evaluation <br /> (a) Lot size shall be adequ the method of sewage disposal, and for <br /> the other improveme s propos or required. <br /> (b) The site plan s show the bounda ' s of the site, the distances to the <br /> nearest resi ntial structures, access poi ts, parking areas, service area, <br /> location proposed existing buildings. <br /> (c) Th ndscape plan shall be at the same scale as a site plan and <br /> ould show how the facilities will be screened from adjacent <br /> properties, in addition, to proposed or existing trees, shr and ground <br /> cover. <br /> (d) Elevations of buildings should show that the buildings preserve th <br /> residential character of the area. <br /> 5.18.3 Museum <br /> (A) Standards of Evaluation for Class B Special Use Permit or ASE-CZConditional <br /> Zoning Districts <br /> (1) Within the AR and RB Zoning District or Land Use classification, as depicted in <br /> the Comprehensive Plan,125 a museum shall be limited to a Rural Heritage <br /> Museum. <br /> (2) If located adjacent to residentially zoned property, all buildings, facilities, and <br /> parking areas shall be located a minimum of 100 feet from the property line. <br /> (3) The maximum building size in an AR or RB zoning district shall be 5,000 square <br /> feet. <br /> 5.18.4 Retreat Center <br /> (A) Submittal Requirements and Standards of Evaluation for Class B Special Use <br /> Permit <br /> (1) Submittal Requirements <br /> In addition to the information required by Section 2.7, the following shall be <br /> submitted as part of the application: <br /> (a) A site plan prepared in accordance with Section 2.5, also showing the <br /> following (existing or proposed): <br /> (i) Buildings, <br /> 125 Necessary addition to preserve intent since,when a parcel is rezoned to a Conditional District, it is technically <br /> no longer an AR or RB zoning district. <br /> Orange County, North Carolina—Unified Development Ordinance Page 5-126 <br />
