Article 5: Uses 213 <br /> Section 5.12: Standards for Extractive Uses <br /> d) The site is of adequate size to provide a buffer for ad' properties. <br /> The buffer shall also be of sufficient size to prey adverse effects in <br /> adJa roperty. <br /> (e) Access to the si irectly fr n interstate, arterial, or major collector <br /> street. <br /> (f) Accident pre ion/emergency man ent plan approved by the <br /> State. <br /> (g) ocation of flood plain if any is on site. <br /> (h) The site plan has buffer from streams. <br /> SECTION ■A- ■ • EXTRACTIVE USES <br /> - <br /> 5.12.1 Borrow Pits for Federal and State Highway Projects <br /> (A) Use Standards <br /> (1) Permitted by right in all districts in accordance with the provisions of Section <br /> 5.1.1-2 of this Ordinance. <br /> (B) Standards of Evaluation <br /> The borrow pit is located within one-half mile of the constructi site; <br /> (2) rosion Control Plan has been approved by the De rtment of Environment, <br /> Health Natural Resources; <br /> (3) The material ex ed is to be used solel r a State or Federal road <br /> construction project; a <br /> (4) Road construction plans incl vision for reclaiming the excavated area. If <br /> the reclamation plan inv es filling the avated area, the fill material must be <br /> inert material defin s beneficial fill by the Waste Branch of the <br /> Department of vironment and Natural Resources, vided that the debris is <br /> also asso ' ed with a State or Federal Highway road con tion project. <br /> Incl n of reusable or recyclable materials in the reclamation o ng of the <br /> rrow pit should be minimized.
