Article 5: Uses 207 <br /> Section 5.10: Standards for Telecommunication Facilities <br /> agent or representative of an insurance company licensed to do <br /> business in the State and with a Best's rating of at least A. <br /> (c) The insurance policies shall contain an endorsement obligating the <br /> insurance company to furnish the County with at least 30 days prior <br /> written notice in advance of the cancellation of the insurance. <br /> (d) Renewal or replacement policies or certificates shall be delivered to the <br /> County at least 15 days before the expiration of the insurance that such <br /> policies are to renew or replace. <br /> (e) Before construction of a permitted facility is initiated, but in no case later <br /> than 15 days prior to the grant of the building permit, the holder of the <br /> Special Use Permit or Conditional District approval shall deliver to the <br /> County a copy of each of the policies or certificates representing the <br /> insurance in the required amounts. A Certificate of Insurance that states <br /> that it is for informational purposes only and does not confer rights upon <br /> the County shall not be deemed to comply with this Section. <br /> C) General Building and Inspection Standards for all Tel/business <br /> ication Sup rt <br /> Structures <br /> ( Tower Inspection <br /> (a) Telecommunication tower owners shall subm to th County <br /> Inspections Division certifying structural and inte ity upon <br /> completion of the initial construction and at in ecified in this <br /> Section. <br /> (b) spection records shall be kept by the towerd made available <br /> u n request to the Inspections Division duri business hours.(c) The lowing inspection schedule shall be focept in cases <br /> where ower has no structures other tha ose associated with <br /> telecomm ication tower use located wi in the tower's fall zone. <br /> (i) At le t once every 36 mont , or 36 months from the date of a <br /> colloca n approval, a stru ural engineer who is regularly <br /> involved i he maintena e, inspection and/or erection of <br /> telecommun ations to ers shall inspect the tower and submit a <br /> report to the In ect' ns Division within a reasonable time <br /> thereafter. At a ' imum, this inspection shall be conducted in <br /> accordance wit rovisions of this Ordinance and in <br /> accordance w' the t er inspections check list provided in the <br /> EIA-222 (as mended fr time to time). This is considered a <br /> major ins ction review. <br /> (i i) At lea once every 12 months, a visual inspection from the <br /> gro d shall be conducted by a operly trained staff member of <br /> a wer provider or tower consulta and a report shall be filed <br /> ith the Inspections Division within a asonable time thereafter. <br /> This inspection shall include, but shall n t be limited to, visual <br /> inspection of tower foundations, structure , uys, and <br /> connections for evidence of settlement or la t movement; soil <br /> erosion; condition of paint or galvanizing; rust corrosion, loose <br /> or missing bolts, loose or corroded lightning prote tion <br /> connectors; tower plumbness, significant variation i uy sags <br /> (i.e. tensions), and other material areas or matters rel ing to the <br /> structural integrity of the tower.
