Article 1: Administration 21 <br /> Section 1.9: Development Advisory Committee <br /> '�,8.41.8.5 Rules of Procedure <br /> The Board shall adopt Rules of Procedure and Regulations for the conduct of its affairs. The rules <br /> shall be maintained in the office of the Planning Director. Except as otherwise expressly stated in <br /> this Ordinance, the rules adopted by the Board of Adjustment shall provide for: <br /> (A) Selection of officers, specifically a Chair and Vice-Chair, whose term of office shall be <br /> one year, with eligibility for re-election. <br /> (B) Attendance requirements. <br /> (C) Establishment of a quorum, which shall be a majority of the appointed members, to <br /> allow the Board to conduct business. <br /> (D) Establishment of a date and time for a regular meeting. <br /> (E) A procedure for calling special meetings as the need of the Board requires. <br /> 1.8.51.8.6 Conduct and Notification of Meetings <br /> All meetings of the Board shall be conducted in compliance with: <br /> (A) North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 143, Article 33C, <br /> (B) This Ordinance <br /> The Planning Director shall give notice of Board meetings as provided in NCGS Chapter 143, <br /> Article 33C. Notice of meetings shall be given to Board of Adjustment members as provided in <br /> the Rules of Procedure adopted by the Board as well as the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> 4-$61.8.7 Record of Meetings <br /> The Planning Director shall keep a record of Board meetings to be maintained as a permanent <br /> public record. This record shall include minutes from each meeting including the vote of each <br /> member on every question, the Board's findings on required items, recommendations, and a <br /> complete summary of the evidence submitted to the Board including all documents, data, and <br /> testimony presented. <br /> SECTION •P ADVISORY • <br /> 1. .
