Y. Performance of Government Functions.Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement which may be to the contrary, nothing contained in this Agreement shall in any way stop, limit or impair the County from exercising or performing any regulatory,policing or governmental powers or functions with respect to the Property including, without limitation, inspection of the Property in the performance of such functions. Z. Duration of Agreement. This Agreement shall be effective on the date of execution and shall remain in effect during the period of affordability required by the Act under 24 CFR Part 92. AA. Training. The HOME Awardee agrees to attend training and/or technical assistance workshops provided by the County related to the administration of this Agreement and that the Department of Housing and Community Development deems mandatory. BB. Entire Agreement and Signatures: The parties have read this Agreement and agree to be bound by all of its terms, and further agree that it constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of the Agreement between the parties unless and until modified in writing and signed by the parties. Modifications may be evidenced by telefacsimile signature. This Agreement together with any amendments or modifications may be executed electronically. All electronic signatures affixed hereto evidence the consent of the Parties to utilize electronic signatures and the intent of the parties to comply with Article I IA and Article 40 of North Carolina General Statute Chapter 66.
