RECOMMENDED IMPROVEMENTS <br />Based on the foregoing analysis, it o apparent that the existing roadway network <br />will be able to accommodate the development The following improvement <br />should be made to improve the level of safety th the project area: <br />Mill ation Recommusnufatiom Needed for <br />Proposed D 1 (Iry1eRt Traffic <br />The pmposed development will add a minor amount of additional traffic to the <br />roadway network. Therefore, it is recommended that the developer make the <br />following roadway imprcvemem. if approved by Orange County and /or <br />NCOOT: <br />Orange Grove Road/ Site Entmnee <br />♦ Construct a northbound, left tarn and on Orange Grove Road at the site <br />entrance <br />Figure s illustrates the recommended roadway lane continuations and traffic <br />control for the roadway and driveway access that adequately mitigates the site <br />traffic impacts. <br />10. CONCLUSIONS <br />All of the study area intersections are currently operating at an acceptable level <br />of service and are presorted to continue to operate at an acceptable level of <br />service in the shady' year, 2006. The proposed Orange Grove Road Development <br />will add a minimal amount of new trips to the roadway network The <br />additional trips will have a slight effect the operations at the study area <br />lntereardons. Overall, all the 3n2rseetions will operate at a COS C or better in <br />ulf>h with the addition of the site traffic. Construction of the recommended <br />northbound left on Orange Grove Road into the site will mitigate the traffic <br />impacts aworeatudd with the proposed development This improvement will <br />benefit the development and the motoring public by increasing the safety in the <br />evaa <br />
