He <br /> 9 resumed the PowerPoint presentation: <br /> 10 <br /> FY2O21-22 Recommended Sportspiex Projects <br /> • Spartsplex Projects-$405,000 <br /> —PaWng lot repair-$75,000(p.95) <br /> — Heating,Ventilation,and Air Conditioning-5100,000(p.95) <br /> — Dwrreplaeements-5125,000(p.95} <br /> — Kldsplexlnllatables and equipment•St05000(p 9$) <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 11 rnxnunoimn <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Travis Myren said as a result of closures over past year, this is a relatively modest CIP <br /> 14 recommendation for the Sportsplex that focuses on things that really need to be repaired or <br /> 15 replaced, due to age, or in the case of the parking lot, wash out. <br /> 16 Commissioner Bedford asked if the Sportsplex got some of the CARES funding, in order <br /> 17 to be safe with opening. <br /> 18 Travis Myren said no, the Sportsplex did not receive an allocation. <br /> 19 Commissioner Bedford said the Sportsplex has managed to be open at a limited <br /> 20 capacity. <br /> 21 Travis Myren said yes, and the county provided some personal protective equipment, <br /> 22 but that was the extent of the involvement. <br /> 23 Chair Price asked if the loss over the past year is known. <br /> 24 Travis Myren said staff would bring that information back. <br /> 25 Chair Price asked if membership fees cover debt service. <br /> 26 Travis Myren said the Sportsplex has been able to support its own debt service for the <br /> 27 past couple of years, and hopefully it will continue. <br /> 28 Commissioner Bedford referred to page 5, and asked if"Sportsplex funds" refers to the <br /> 29 fees people are paying. <br />
