The current CIP
17 consists of a 5-year plan that is evaluated annually to include year-to-year changes in priorities,
18 needs, and available resources. Approval of the CIP commits the County to the first year
19 funding only of the capital projects; all other years are used as a planning tool and serves as a
20 financial plan.
21 Travis Myren made the following PowerPoint presentation:
22
14QNW____
ORANGE COUNTY
NORTH CAROLINA
INTRODUCTION OF THE
CAPITAL INVESTMENT PLAN
FY2021-26
Soord of Orange County Commissioners
April 6,2021
23
FY2021-26 Recommended Capital Investment Plan
• Change from FY2020-25 Adopted Plan
FY2021-a s r1,1a1 ose s sa,oss tbr s ;1s,oesaeel
FYzz-za s a.,aao s e,or<+e+ s 13259.39a
fY2023-24 5 21,467.049 E M.940A70 3 7,47-J,427 I
FYZ24 2i 5 19,626 316 5 22.2321537 3 24 4,321
,R01AL i 137,r00L203 i i36,302A" 6 SAM.163
— Net Increase of$5.0 mil I Ion over four years
• FY2021-22i mmeein Wwt&rstone EMS Subsmtion forslonmmter-5450,090
P(2021.22nsw EMS Subs%tion ImMion study-$250,DDO
FY2021-22netimme sn ban—Anpfor2038.Gn ebam-$275,G00
Fy2D21-22Mw-omkIRD011 pr9JOSI f9f EPM1¢6nCy SN4 SH bWdln¢-$M.000
• FY2023-24mw EMS wbstauoaat rsquestof Chapel HE Fre-53mion
ORANGE COUNTY
.WRnLi AN) tN.,
24 '
25
