(All other staff members will be identified <br /> 18 appropriately below) <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Chair Price called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A roll call was called; all members were present except for Commissioner McKee <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners is conducting a Virtual <br /> 25 Business Meeting on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Members of the Board of Commissioners <br /> 26 participated in the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, members of the public were able to <br /> 27 view and listen to the meeting via live streaming video at <br /> 28 http://www.orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on Orange County Gov-TV on <br /> 29 channels 1301 or 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). <br /> 30 <br /> 31 In this new virtual process, there are two methods for public comment. <br /> 32 • Written submittals by email <br /> 33 • Speaking during the virtual meeting <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Detailed public comment instructions for each method are provided at the bottom of this <br /> 36 agenda. (Pre-registration is required.) <br /> 37 <br /> 38 1. Additions or Changes to the Agenda <br /> 39 <br /> 40 A motion was made by Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Greene, to <br /> 41 add a closed session at the end of the meeting, pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(3) "to consult <br /> 42 with an attorney retained by the Board in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between <br /> 43 the attorney and the Board." <br /> 44 <br /> 45 "Pursuant to G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(3) "to consult with an attorney retained by the Board <br /> 46 in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Board." <br /> 47 Roll call ensued <br /> 48 <br /> 49 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> 50 <br />
