<br />At an election held throughout the County of Orange, North Carolina, on March 18, 1961, upon the
<br />order authorizing $1,500,000 School Building Bonds of said County, 15,08 voters were registered and
<br />qualified to vote.

<br />At said election 2837 votes were cast for the order authorizing the County of Orange to contract
<br />a debt and in evidence thereof to issue not exceeding $1,500,000 School Building Bonds of said County
<br />for the purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for erecting additional school
<br />buildings and other school plant facilities, remodeling, enlarging and reconstructing existing school
<br />buildings and other school plant facilities, and acquiring necessary land and equipment therefor,
<br />in order to provide additional school facilities in the County of Orange to maintain the six months,
<br />school term in said County as required by Section 3 of Article LC of the Constitution, and authori.
<br />zing the levy and collection of a sufficient tax for the paymant of the principal of and the interest
<br />on said bonds, and 1512 votes were cast against said order, and said order was thereby approved and
<br />is in force and effect.
<br />This statement is given by order of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, this
<br />20th day of March, 1961.

<br />Section 2, When the foregoing statement shall have been signed by a majority of the members
