Orange County Schools Board of <br /> Education FY2021-22 Operating <br /> Budget Request <br /> PURPOSE: To receive and discuss the Durham Technical Community College — Orange <br /> County Campus Capital Needs and FY 2021-22 Operating Budget request; Orange County <br /> Schools and Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Boards of Education Capital Needs and FY2021- <br /> 22 Operating Budget requests. <br /> BACKGROUND: Each year at the April County/Schools Joint Work Session, both School <br /> systems present their respective Boards Approved Annual Budgets and Capital Needs to the <br /> Board of County Commissioners for review and discussion. Tonight, Durham Technical <br /> Community College — Orange County Campus will also present their Annual Budget request <br /> and Capital Needs. The following agenda items have been established for this Joint meeting: <br /> Welcome and Introductions — Chair Price, Chair LaSerna, and Chair MacKenzie <br /> 1. Presentation of County Manager's Recommended Capital Budget for Fiscal Years <br /> 2021-26 (See Attachment A) <br /> The Deputy County Manager will provide a PowerPoint presentation for school related Capital <br /> projects included in the Manager's Recommended FY 2021-26 Capital Investment Plan. <br />
