PRO - 2021 - 011 ; 4/ 6/ 21 ; 4- b <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> PROCLAMATION RECOGNIZING AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE TO <br /> THOM FREEMAN =STUART , <br /> RETIRING ASSISTANT DEPUTY CLERK <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS , Thom Freeman - Stuart started working with Orange County in 2006 as an <br /> Office Assistant with Animal Services ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Thom earned a promotion to Accounting Technician with the Department of <br /> Social Services in 2008 ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Thom transferred to the Board of County Commissioners ; Office as an I <br /> Assistant to the Clerk in 2013 and was later reclassified to Assistant Deputy Clerk in 2017 ; <br /> and <br /> is <br /> WHEREAS , during his time in the Board of County Commissioners ' Office , Thom did an <br /> exceptional job maintaining and improving the advisory boards and commissions process , ! <br /> as well as managing the budget and finances for the office ; and <br /> L <br /> WHEREAS , Thom provided excellent service to both internal and external customers , <br /> and was always available to lend a hand ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Thom is regarded by his coworkers as a wonderful colleague and friend <br /> whose kindness and good humor will be missed ; and <br /> f <br /> WHEREAS , Thom retired from Orange County on March 31 , 2021 after almost <br /> 15 years in service to the County and its residents ; <br /> c <br /> NOW THEREFORE , we , the Orange County Board of Commissioners , do hereby <br /> recognize and express deep appreciation and respect for the services rendered by Thom <br /> Freeman - Stuart to the Orange County community , and wish him well in his retirement . <br /> This the 6t" day of April 2021 . <br /> Renee Price , Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br />
