�i <br /> k <br /> RES - 2021 - 020 ; 4/ 6/ 21 ; & d <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Sherifps Office is in possession of surplus ammunition that is either <br /> no longer needed by or not best suited for the agency; and <br /> r <br /> WHEREAS , AmChar Wholesale, Inc . has been in the firearms business since 1980 . It is one of the <br /> I <br /> top distributors in the industry for law enforcement entities and independent dealers in the United <br /> States ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the County and AmChar Wholesale, Inc . wish to make an even exchange of the surplus <br /> ammunition for merchandise credits ; and <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A-271 authorizes the county to make such an <br /> exchange if authorized by the Board of Commissioners by a resolution adopted at a regular meeting <br /> of the board upon at least 10 days ' public notice; and <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS , the county has given the required public notice, and the board is convened in a regular <br /> ,; <br /> meeting. 1 <br /> THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY HEREBY RESOLVES THAT : <br /> 1 . The exchange of properties described above is authorized. 1' <br /> 1% <br /> 2 .
