The funding will be distributed to eligible community agencies around the <br /> state that will work directly with North Carolinians on an application and disbursement process. <br /> Orange County applied for and was awarded CDBG-CV funds to be used with the County's <br /> existing Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA) program, which prevents eviction and <br /> homelessness by providing financial assistance to help Orange County residents with low <br /> incomes secure and maintain stable housing. EHA assistance is available to households in <br /> Orange County that earn no more than 60% of the area median income, have an urgent need for <br /> housing assistance, and lack resources to cover the cost of their housing need. <br /> As part of the CDBG-CV grant compliance requirements, Orange County must adopt the following <br /> plans that will apply to activities using CDBG-CV funds and use the templates provided by the NC <br /> Department of Commerce: <br /> • Fair Housing Plan (Attachment 1) <br /> • Language Access Plan (Attachment 2) <br /> • Section 3 Plan (Attachment 3) <br /> • Equal Employment and Procurement Plan (Attachment 4) <br />
