2 <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: The following Orange County Social Justice Goal is <br /> applicable to this item: <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> Emergency Services <br /> 2. The Orange County Emergency Services Department has received additional grant funds <br /> totaling $18,753 from the N.C. Department of Crime Control and Public Safety related to <br /> the Emergency Management Performance Grant awards. The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC)/Clerk's Office is requesting the use of <br /> $20,000 from the BOCC Contingency to contract facilitation services for the BOCC <br /> Elections Advisory Group. The facilitator for the BOCC Elections Advisory Group will: <br /> • Schedule a two-hour(+/-) meeting of the full Group to be held on the fourth Thursday <br /> of each month, unless otherwise necessary, beginning March 25th with the final <br /> scheduled meeting to occur on July 22nd. <br /> • Schedule other meetings of the full group as needed up to a total of ten meetings. <br /> • Draft agendas for each meeting based on input from group members and co-chairs <br /> for the Group and share with staff. <br /> • Finalize agendas that incorporate input. <br />
