2 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 The City of Mebane and Orange County hosted an open house virtual meeting with the public <br /> 3 on November 10, 2020. The meeting was held via Zoom and welcomed guest questions, <br /> 4 comments, and concerns after a short presentation on the overview of the plan. The Mebane <br /> 5 City Council discussed the Buckhorn Area Plan at meetings in December 2020 and in January <br /> 6 of this year. The City Council agreed to take NO action on the Buckhorn Area Plan until Orange <br /> 7 County reviewed the Plan and offered comments. The Orange County BOCC received a <br /> 8 presentation on the Plan at its February 16, 2021 Business Meeting and scheduled this item for <br /> 9 discussion with Mebane City Council. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 THE BUCKHORN AREA PLAN (STUDY): <br /> 12 A copy of the full document can be downloaded via the following link: <br /> 13 https://www.ptrc.org/Home/ShowDocument?id=10489 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 The study uses GIS mapping to determine parcels most suitable for development within the <br /> 16 focus area.
