(Civil Rights <br /> EndingFY2020 and the 1929 Gastonia Mill Strike are already <br /> scheduled. <br /> Projected Results Build on the coordination and themes outlined by the <br /> (Outcome) town/County; focus on bringing more diversity to the <br /> Ending FY2021 museum <br /> Become more visible in the community as a place <br /> where residents and visitors can engage in <br /> Program Goal #3 conversations that break down mistrust, <br /> misinformation, and ignorance. This gives the museum <br /> a unique power to strengthen citizenship values, build <br /> community pride, and improve quality of life. <br /> Design and hold "listening sessions" at two locations; <br /> Performance Measure(How will you accomplish your goal?) use Facebook to prompt conversations about what <br /> residents want to see in their Museum. <br /> Several lectures, exhibits, and online exhibits in 2019 <br /> increased awareness of gender, African American, and <br /> Native American history. The Women of Orange <br /> temporary exhibit highlighted important women in <br /> Actual Results Orange County's history. Online exhibit topics included <br /> (Outcome) a video on Occaneechi tribal culture, Robert Fitzgerald, <br /> EndingFY18-19 and Wilson Swain Caldwell. By highlighting the <br /> historical context of diverse groups within our <br /> community, we have engendered increased <br /> communications and sense of community. <br /> Projected Results Stronger engagement by education community in the <br /> (Outcome) museum, with teachers and students seeing and using <br /> EndingFY2020 the Museum as a resource. <br /> Projected Results Higher visibility— more attendance but also more <br /> (Outcome) people seeking out the resources available through the <br /> Ending FY2021 museum. <br /> Program information P a g e 13 o f 2 1 <br />
