Agency's Purpose/Mission (no more than a few sentences): The ArtsCenter exists in order to educate and inspire artistic creativity and to enrich the lives of people of all ages. 3. The ArtsCenter is organized into four major departments that have provided artistically excellent and accessible experiences to Triangle Families for more than 40 years. Our agency has grown from two classrooms to a thriving arts hub that grown consistently throughout the years, adding a performance space and classes to engage all levels of ability. The ArtsCenter has a record of incorporating arts engagement not only on our facility but we are one of the largest providers of in-school arts immersion programs for Chapel Hill and Orange County, providing 9 CHCSS Elementary Schools, 2 CHCSS Middle Schools, and 4 Orange County Schools with Artist Residencies and School Shows. 4. Living Wage: Does this agency pay permanent employees a minimum living wage? (Yes/No) Yes If yes, is this agency an Orange County Living Wage Certified Employer? No If no, please briefly explain. The ArtsCenter pays all its full-time permanent employees a living wage with full benefits. Currently approximately 75% of our part time staff receive a rate at or above Orange County Living Wage rates. At this time only seasonal part-time employees are not paid living wage rates.
