He said each county is assigned to an LME-MCO, and said it <br /> is Cardinal's desire to address gaps within the services being provided. He said Cardinal is not <br /> perfect, but it is a different organization than it used to be. He said statutes complicate the <br /> ability to provide services, but Cardinal is improving service delivery in authorizations. He said <br /> Cardinal is listening to residents and members, and a possible disengagement is concerning. <br /> He said it is most concerning for those in need of Cardinal's services, and he asked the Board <br /> to allow Cardinal to continue to serve Orange County. <br /> Commissioner Bedford said one provider on the planning committee for disengagement <br /> might not be enough, and she is glad that the Manager can add as needed. She said she <br /> would like to know what the financial due diligence of the plan is. <br />
