He <br /> 19 said Nathan Boucher did submit an application, but it did not download correctly. He read <br /> 20 Nathan Boucher's answers to the application: <br /> 21 <br /> 22 BOCC Elections Advisory Group <br /> 23 Background, education and experience relevant to this board: <br /> 24 1 have no prior background advising on election or voting strategies. I have extensive <br /> 25 experience leading and participating on advisory boards and with stakeholder engagement. <br /> 26 Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> 27 The current elections have made it clear that ALL need an equal opportunity to exercise their <br /> 28 voting rights. I have no agenda; I want everyone to vote and I don t ask for whom. <br /> 29 Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> 30 1 work in aging and disability areas and am concerned with access to voting and <br /> 31 representation of those who often live in the shadows of our community. I have extensive <br /> 32 experience with managing stakeholder engagement and convening diverse communities. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Commissioner Fowler confirmed her support for Boucher. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Bedford to <br /> 37 approve the fifteen nominees to the elections advisory group <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Roll call ensued <br /> 40 <br /> 41 VOTE: Ayes, 6 (Commissioner Bedford, Commissioner Fowler, Commissioner Greene, <br /> 42 Commissioner Hamilton, Commissioner McKee, Chair Price); Nays, 1 (Commissioner <br /> 43 Dorosin) <br /> 44 <br /> 45 MOTION PASSES <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Commissioner Bedford asked if there will be a facilitator for this group. <br /> 48 Greg Wilder asked if the Commissioners would review the recommendations items 2 <br /> 49 and 3: approving a charge, selecting co-chairs for the advisory group, and the possibility of <br /> 50 selecting a facilitator. <br /> 51 <br />
