She <br /> 20 said Leon Myers expressed a willingness to serve. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 A motion was made by Commissioner Fowler, seconded by Commissioner McKee to <br /> 23 appoint Mr. Meyers to the Board of Adjustment. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Commissioner Bedford offered a friendly amendment to the motion, to also appoint all of <br /> 26 the other individuals listed on the consent agenda item 8-b to their respective Advisory Boards <br /> 27 and Commissions, as well as Mr. Meyers. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Commissioner Fowler and Commissioner McKee accepted the amendment. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Roll call ensued. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 VOTE: UNANMIOUS <br /> 34 <br /> 35 <br /> 36 a. Advisory Boards and Commissions —Appointments <br /> 41 The Board approved the Advisory Boards and Commissions appointments as reviewed and <br /> 42 discussed during the February 9, 2021 Work Session. <br /> 43 c. Resolution Acknowledging February 23, 2021 as Spay Neuter Day in Orange County, <br /> 44 North Carolina <br /> 45 The Board adopted an official resolution, which is incorporated by reference, declaring February <br /> 46 23, 2021 is "Spay Neuter Day" in Orange County, authorize the Chair to sign, and receive a <br /> 47 written update about the County's spay and neuter program. <br /> 48 d.
