Call to Order <br /> Saul called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. <br /> 11. Additions or Changes to Agenda <br /> None. <br /> III. Approval of Draft Minutes from November 9th, 2020 <br /> Motion by Binkowski; seconded by Piracci; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> IV. CFE Activities—2020 <br /> CFE discussed current activities with a brief status update for each item. <br /> V. Community Climate Action Grant <br /> Bouma presented final thoughts, scores, and comments on the proposed projects for the <br /> Community Climate Action Grant, followed by lots of discussion amongst the CFE <br /> members. Motion by Piracci to recommend to the County Commissioners to fully fund <br /> projects that ranked 1 through 5 in order, not fund the Forest Foundation project, and to <br /> fund the Town of Chapel Hill's LED project with the remaining $128,057. Motion <br /> seconded by McWhorter; none opposed; motion passed. <br /> VI. 2021 CFE Annual Report& Work Plan <br /> Himi presented the DRAFT 2021 CFE Annual Report &Work plan. CFE discussed and <br /> prioritized goals for the year. Himi will send out revised DRAFT via email for <br /> finalization in order to approve at the January CFE meeting. <br /> VII. Duke's Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) <br /> Bouma discussed Duke's recently submitted IRP that lays out several scenarios it could <br /> follow to generate power for our grid over the next 10-20 critical years. Bouma <br /> discussed the options of public comment or formal intervention with the help of the <br /> Attorney's office and mentioned the deadline for a response was January 29, 2021.
