I am eager to listen, learn, and share <br /> insights with my colleagues as we determine the best ways we can reach and serve the <br /> community through the arts. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> My background, knowledge, and experience will position me as a strong contributor and <br /> member of the Orange County Arts Commission board. I have dedicated my life and career to <br /> the arts, both as an artist and an arts communicator and that will give me a unique perspective. <br /> Perhaps even more importantly, because of my position at UNC, my strong connections to the <br /> arts organizations, departments, student groups, and individual artists on campus will help me <br /> bring a different lens to any conversation or discussion.
