For 8 yrs I <br /> was a consulting engineer/project manager. Following that I started & run multiple small <br /> companies and four(4) non-profit organizations, including my wife & I living 3 yrs in South Africa <br /> interfacing with the Provincial Dept of Ed to establish an NGO focused on HIV/AIDS prevention. <br /> Since 2007 living in Hillsborough I have operated a commercial construction company, helped <br /> local schools as a volunteer teacher for both economics &character development, &started a <br /> local private school. My background &experience provides a good basis to understand <br /> development needs joined with ensuring harmonious coordination of the lives of involved people <br /> and the larger community. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> My background has produced skills in coordinating people and projects, both in the private and <br /> public sectors. I understand the business world, and have extensive community service <br /> experience.
