See attached letters of support from several Daycationers <br /> detailing their positive experiences at LEVEL retreat. <br /> We have hosted visiting artists-in-residence and events thanks to <br /> OCAC Artist Project Grants: <br /> • Tod Seelie (November 2019, photography): pop-up gallery, panel <br /> discussion, and workshop. Partnerships with The ArtsCenter, Cat's <br /> Cradle, Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership. <br /> • Fafnir Adamites (December 2018-January 2019, sculpture): artist <br /> talk, hands-on demonstration, and LEVEL retreat tours of work <br /> completed during her residency. Partnership with The ArtsCenter. <br /> • Nicholas Chatfield-Taylor (March/April 2018, sculpture): built a <br /> Seussian Igloo sculpture in the Coker Arboretum, then permanently <br /> installed it at LEVEL. Partnership with UNC Arts Everywhere. <br /> We have also independently hosted several other visiting artists, <br /> including: <br /> • MSHR (March 2020, musicians): Cosmic Rays Film Festival <br /> performers <br /> • Ben Pender-Cudlip (August/September 2019, filmmaker) <br /> • Kelly Sears (June/July 2019, filmmaker) <br /> • Rose Kennedy and Katharine March (October 2018): "Paint it <br /> Orange" plein air artists <br /> • Robin Frohardt (April 2018, September 2018): Carolina Performing <br /> Arts/Mellon DisTIL Fellow <br /> • Jace Clayton aka DJ /rupture (February 2018): Duke/UNC Nannerl O. <br /> Keohane Distinguished Visiting Professor <br /> Independently, LEVEL retreat co-founders Marie Rossettie and BJ <br /> Warshaw have been lifelong artists and creative facilitators. In May <br /> 2019, Marie showed her painting series, "Friends Making Funny <br /> Faces", at a pop-up gallery event supported by Arts Everywhere and <br /> Downtown Chapel Hill. BJ was recently awarded a Downtown Durham <br /> Public Space Project grant to compose and perform a "Symphony of <br /> 100 Toy Keyboards" with musician Will Hackney. <br /> PROJ ECT/PROGRAM Please fill out the charts below with your project's expenses and <br /> BUDGET income.
