The mulch creetetl es a result qt this grinding is <br />soltl al a current rate of $15 per 3 abic yards (inaeasetl !rem $12 effective September 1) to <br />intlividual c¢¢ens and lantlscaping buslnesaee_ Grintlinq takes place 3-0times annually. <br />If the Regulaletl Recyclable ONinance is adopted and proposed consWdion S tlemoll8on <br />recyGing tacllltles developed, the County would purchase grinding equipment and not renew <br />this agreement when it expires in August of 2002. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: Total estimated cos[ of this mntmd is $85,000, which is butlge[ed In [he <br />FV 2001102 Solid Waste Management Department butlgel. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the BOaN approve [he new yeM <br />waste grinding contract with Hannon e, Inc. end authorae the Chair to sign the contract, subject <br />to foal review by Staff and the County Anomey. <br />
