For three years, he served as the Artistic <br /> Assistant and Literary Associate at Playmakers Repertory Company. <br /> Currently, he serves on the Youth Advisory Board for the off- <br /> Broadway theatre company, The COOP. In 2019, he was one of two <br /> Playwriting Fellows selected to attend the Kennedy Center MFA <br /> Playwriting Workshop and most recently, he was named a finalist for <br /> the Echo Theatre Company's National Young Playwrights in <br /> Residence. He is the 2019-2020 Arts Everywhere Student Innovation <br /> Grant award winner. <br /> His play "sons that wear dresses and mothers that love sweet <br /> potatoes" was one of four plays selected for development at the <br /> Kennedy Center's Undergraduate Playwriting Workshop, as well as a <br /> selection for PlayMakers Repertory Company's Making Tracks <br /> Reading Series. The play was named a semi-finalist for the 2020 <br /> National Playwrights Conference and the 2020 Bay Area Playwrights <br /> Festival, and also received Distinguished Achievement recognition <br /> from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. <br /> Most recently, along with playwright Antonio Lasanta, he co-wrote <br /> "Our Offering," a virtual theatre experience created by Sis and <br /> starring an all-star cast of Broadway performers, such as Jai'Len <br /> Josey, Samantha Williams, Anthony Lee Medina, Chalia-La Tour, <br /> Charles Bernard Murray, Kathryn Allison, Terrance Spencer, Renee <br /> Rapp, and Andrew Barth Feldman, amongst others.
