The existing <br /> roof, insulation, curbs, HVAC units and miscellaneous items are to be replaced.The new roof is to be <br /> PVC and has an initial probable cost estimate provided by CFE of $ 318,190 (not including <br /> contingency). The HVAC replacement probable cost estimate is $700,000. The HVAC replacement <br /> includes the replacement of two RTUs, boilers, vav's and DDC controls with a Seimens system. <br /> SCHEMATIC DESIGN/DESIGN DEVELOPMENT: <br /> Smith Sinnett Architecture will work with and coordinate all members of the design team to evaluate <br /> the owner's requests and begin developing an approach to design and construction of the proposed <br /> improvements. Initially,we expect to meet with Orange County's Planning Department to assess and <br /> meet all requirements for approvals, if necessary. During the schematic design/design development <br /> phase we would anticipate attending meetings with the owner to present design progress and collect <br /> owner feedback. We assume the County will supply conformed A/E construction documentation and <br /> that these drawings are accurate. <br /> CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS: <br /> The construction documents shall be based on approved schematic design/design development <br /> documentation and shall set forth in detail the requirements for construction of the project.
