This notice is <br /> required to be mailed 15 days before the date of this meeting. <br /> The County Planning Board will consider making a recommendation on the <br /> Zoning Atlas amendment at its March regular meeting, scheduled for: <br /> 7:00 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2021 <br /> As a reminder, the Planning Board is an appointed volunteer advisory board <br /> which makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (the elected <br /> officials). The Board of County Commissioners holds a formal public hearing and makes <br /> decisions. Section 2.8 of the County's Unified Development Ordinance contains a <br /> flowchart depicting the entire review process for rezoning and text amendment <br /> applications. <br /> Consistent with COVID-19 protocols, and to ensure the health and safety of all <br /> participants, the meeting will be virtual. <br /> HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE PLANNING BOARD MEETING OR MAKE <br /> COMMENT(S): <br /> There are two methods for public comment, namely: <br /> ® Written submittals by email or drop-off at Planning offices <br /> ® Speaking during the virtual meeting <br /> Detailed instructions for submitted comments and signing up to view the Planning <br /> Board meeting will be available on or shortly after February 24, 2021 as part of the <br /> agenda posted for the March 3, 2021 Planning Board meeting.
