GARY CARLEEN RICHARDSON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FUTURE LAND USE MAP (FLUM) CHANGE: CHANGING PARCEL FROM RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL TRANSITION ACTIVITY NODE (CITAN) AND GENERAL USE REZONING: RURAL RESIDENTIAL (R-1) TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC-4) PIN 9873-54-6387 I, Michael Harvey, Planner III / Current Planning Supervisor with Orange County, North Carolina, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that in accordance with the provisions of Sections 2.8.7 of the Orange County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), I mailed, or caused to be mailed, via first class mail a notice of Planning Board Meeting to review and make a recommendation on an applicant modification of the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) and a general use rezoning request and on February 16, 2021. This notice informed those property owners within 1,000 feet of the subject property that the applicant is seeking a FLUM and Zoning Atlas Amendment change to the subject property. A notice was also sent to the affected property owner via certified mail on the same date stated above. This notice was mailed on February 16, 2021, 15 days before the Planning Board meeting. The property owners within 1,000 feet were identified according to the Orange County Tax Records as required by the LIDO. The mailed notice included the date, time, place, and subject of the meeting. Staff also posted the subject parcel with signs indicating the date/time of the Planning Board's review of the request on February 19, 2021, 12 days before the Planning Board meeting.
