Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br /> property tax values for five taxpayers with a total of five bills that will result in a reduction of <br /> revenue. <br /> C. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br /> values for fifteen taxpayers with a total of fifteen bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> The Board approved nine untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> taxation for nine bills for the 2020 tax year. <br /> e. Advertisement of Tax Liens on Real Property <br /> The Board received a report on the amount of unpaid taxes for the current year that are liens on <br /> real property as required by North Carolina General Statute 105-369 and request March 31, <br /> 2021 as the date set by the Board for the tax lien advertisement and authorize the Chair to sign <br /> the order. <br /> f. Request for Road Addition to the State Maintained Secondary Road System for <br /> Bennett Orchard Trail in The Orchard Subdivision <br /> The Board made a recommendation to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> (NCDOT), and the North Carolina Board of Transportation (NC BOT), concerning a petition to <br /> add Bennett Orchard Trail in The Orchard Subdivision to the State Maintained Secondary Road <br /> System. <br /> g. Fiscal Year 2020-21 Budget Amendment#6 <br /> The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 2020-21 for Animal Services; Health Department; Department on Aging; and Housing and <br /> Community Development. <br /> h. Resolution in Support of NCACC Presidential Initiative to Promote Food System <br /> Resiliency <br /> The Board approved a Resolution, which is incorporated by reference, in Support of NCACC <br /> Presidential Initiative to Promote Food System Resiliency and authorized the Chair to sign. <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley highlighted the budget amendment in Consent Agenda for a grant <br /> that Carrboro received to be transferred to Orange County for rental and hardship assistance. <br /> She said this is a wonderful sign of partnership.
