The EMS Directors assessment ie that multi-hazaM plans within EMS are adequate, however, <br />there is II¢le or no planning coordination being done behveen the County end'Ra partners such <br />as the Towns of Chapel Hill antl Canboro, the school disttlcts, [he University, UNC Hospitals, <br />utlliry companies, OWASA, DOT, and other agencies. <br />Also [he County currently is not contlucting treining within County departments in executing <br />these plans, which leatls to confusion in tlmes of need. Also, [here ere some types of hazeNOUs <br />situations for which Yhere ere not adequate plans in place, such as nuclear site accidenLS.
