Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and <br /> Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br /> 1.2 SUMMARY <br /> A. This Section includes the following: <br /> 1. Commercial door hardware for the following: <br /> a. Swinging doors. <br /> b. Non-fire-rated folding doors. <br /> C. Doors to the exterior. <br /> d. Other doors to the extent indicated. <br /> B. Related Sections include the following: <br /> 1. Division 08 Section "Hollow Metal Doors and Frames" for astragals provided as part of fire-rated <br /> labeled assemblies and door silencers. <br /> 2. See Door Hardware Allowance. <br /> 1.3 DOOR HARDWARE ALLOWANCE <br /> A. Door Hardware Selection: Furnish door hardware selected by Architect, in quantities specified in this <br /> Section and in Division 01 Section "Allowances." <br /> B. Allowance Bidding: After Architect selects door hardware and issues the door hardware sets, request <br /> bids for products and materials. <br /> C. Allowance Award: Architect will select bid from bids furnished by Contractor. Award purchase order <br /> to bidder selected. <br /> D. Allowance Adjustment: A Change Order will be issued to adjust difference between door hardware <br /> allowance and selected bid from door hardware Installer. <br /> E.
