All items and assemblies <br /> manufactured or fabricated for installation on this project shall be ADA compliant. Shop drawing <br /> submittals shall indicate ADA compliance. Installation of all items and assemblies shall be ADA <br /> compliant.All contractors shall submit a statement that all work to the best of their knowledge is ADA <br /> compliant prior to release of final retainage. Remedy of non-compliant circumstances should they arise <br /> shall consist of written notification to the Architect by the Contractor prior installation or fabrication of <br /> the respective building component or arrangement. Should any contractor, subcontractor,or regulatory <br /> authority having jurisdiction become aware of any non-compliant circumstance he shall notify the <br /> Architect at once. <br /> ARTICLE 7—RESTRICTIONS AND CONSTRUCTION PERSONNEL <br /> Behavior of construction personnel on the site shall be expected to be exemplary.Foul language,rude or <br /> crude behavior, suggestive comments or actions, or other behavior considered unacceptable will not be <br /> tolerated. Shirts will be required to be worn at all times. Contractors will be responsible to counsel their <br /> personnel concerning the above restrictions and will be responsible to ensure that these restrictions are <br /> enforced.Failure on the part of construction personnel to comply with the intent of these restrictions will <br /> be grounds for their permanent removal and banning from the Project site. <br /> ARTICLE 8—E-PROCUREMENT <br /> ATTENTION: E-Procurement rules WILL apply for Registered E-Procurement Vendors only. Reference <br /> the General Contract Terms and Conditions, (Contractual and Consultant Services),paragraphs 19 and 20. <br /> 19. REGISTERED E-PROCUREMENT VENDORS: <br /> ELECTRONIC PROCUREMENT (APPLIES TO ALL CONTRACTS THAT INCLUDE E- <br /> PROCUREMENT AND ARE IDENTIFIED AS SUCH IN THE BODY OF THE SOLICITATION <br /> DOCUMENT): Purchasing shall be conducted through the Statewide E-Procurement Service. The State's <br /> third party agent shall serve as the Supplier Manager for this E-Procurement Service. <br /> THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER(S) SHALL PAY A TRANSACTION FEE OF 1.75% (.0175) ON THE <br /> TOTAL DOLLAR AMOUNT(EXCLUDING SALES TAXES)OF EACH PURCHASE ORDER <br /> ISSUED THROUGH THE STATEWIDE E-PROCUREMENT SERVICE. This applies to all purchase <br /> orders,regardless of the quantity or dollar amount of the purchase order. The transaction fee shall not be <br /> stated or included as a separate item in the proposed contract or invoice. There are no additional fees or <br /> charges to the contractor for the services rendered by the Supplier Manager under this contract. <br /> Contractor will receive a credit for transaction fees they paid for the purchase of any item(s)if an item(s) <br /> is returned through no fault of the contractor.
