48 <br /> Page 2 of 2 Gary Miller <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> As likely goes without saying for anyone applying to a board, it is my genuine desire to contribute <br /> to the community and deepen the experience of living in this wonderful area. I can think of no <br /> greater way to do that than through advocacy and support of the Visitor s Bureau. This area has <br /> wonderful arts, music, nature, sports, educational, commerce, and historic experiences that <br /> make it a great place to both live and visit. It would be an honor to be able to participate in <br /> helping raise the profile, spread the word, and carry out the goals of the Visitors Bureau. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> As someone who has technically been a new resident of the area three different times, I am <br /> able to both speak to the changes of the area over time and to see the area with fresh eyes.
