The renewal rates are within the amounts budgeted <br />for health insurance far 2002. Additional information is provided below' <br />Current HeaIN Plans <br />Currently Orange County ofkre three health insurance plans: Blue Crass Personal Care Plan, <br />Blue Cmss Preferetl Provider Plan, antl CIGNA (formerly Healthsource). Both Blue Cross <br />plans are offered through the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners' (NCACC) <br />Health Insurance Trust The County entered into the lnterlocal Agreement with the NCACC <br />Heahh Insurance Trus[efledive January 1, 1996. The Blue Cross Preferred Provider Plan is a <br />type of tretlitional health insurance plan.
