Second Reading: Emergency Services Franchise by Ordinance UNC Campus EMS <br /> 14 The Board approved the granting of a franchise by ordinance to UNC Campus EMS and the <br /> 15 Franchise Agreement under which they will operate, for a five year term, and authorize the <br /> 16 Chair to sign. The Board approved this item on First Reading at the December 7, 2020 Business <br /> 17 meeting. <br /> 18 d. Acceptance of N.C. Land and Water Fund Grant— Draper Savage Foundation <br /> 19 The Board accepted a grant from the North Carolina Land and Water Fund toward acquisition of <br /> 20 a conservation easement on lands owned by the Draper Savage Memorial Foundation <br /> 21 (Moorefields). <br /> 22 e. Fiscal Year 2020-21 Budget Amendment#5 <br /> 23 The Board approved the budget, grant and capital project ordinance amendments for fiscal year <br /> 24 2020-21. <br /> 25 f. Approval of Financing Arrangement for Efland Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. To <br /> 26 Purchase a Fire Engine Truck <br /> 27 The Board approved Efland Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. entering into a financing arrangement <br /> 28 to purchase a fire engine truck and authorize the Board of County Commissioners' Chair to sign <br /> 29 the appropriate documents related to the financing agreement. <br /> 30 g. Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (SAPFO) —Approval of Membership <br /> 31 and Capacity Numbers <br /> 32 The Board approved the November 13, 2020 membership and capacity numbers for both school <br /> 33 districts (Orange County and Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools) which will be used in <br /> 34 developing 10-year student membership projections and the 2021 SAPFO Technical Advisory <br /> 35 Committee (SAPFOTAC) Report. <br /> 36 h. Construction Bid Award for Office Upfit—Whitted Building <br /> 37 The Board awarded a bid to C.T. Wilson Construction Company, Durham, North Carolina in the <br /> 38 amount of$975,000 for the renovation of spaces in the Whitted Human Services Center <br /> 39 Complex to create several office suites, and authorize the County Manager to sign the <br /> 40 construction agreement. <br /> 41 i. Construction Bid Award for the Orange County Visitors Bureau <br /> 42 The Board awarded a bid to Racanelli Construction South, Inc. of Apex NC in the amount of <br /> 43 $268,370 for the Orange County Visitors Bureau renovation, and authorize the County Manager <br /> 44 to sign the construction agreement. <br /> 45 j. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing a Revision in the Resolution Adopted June 18, <br /> 46 2019 Which Authorized the Orange County FY 2019-2020 HOME Program Design <br /> 47 The Board approved a resolution authorizing a revision in the resolution adopted June 18, 2019 <br /> 48 which authorized the Orange County FY 2019-2020 HOME Program Design, and authorize the <br /> 49 Chair to sign the revised resolution. <br /> 50 <br />
