Willing Road will be developed in a future <br /> 7 phase (i.e. will not be part of the initial development of the travel center in Phase 1). <br /> 8 The applicant has proposed a temporary access road from Mt. Willing Road for <br /> 9 emergency vehicle access (i.e., fire, ambulance, Sheriff, etc.). This temporary access <br /> 10 proposal has been approved by the County Fire Marshal. <br /> 11 Staff has concerns vehicles will be unable to access the proposed travel center directly <br /> 12 from Mt. Willing Road until Phase 2, the proposed elimination of Exit 160, and the <br /> 13 individual right-in and right-outs allowing access to the proposed Travel Center off of <br /> 14 the Interstate on/off ramp. <br /> 15 Utilities: The project is proposed to be served by public water (Orange-Alamance Water System) <br /> 16 and sewer (City of Mebane). Orange County is continuing to work with Orange-Alamance and <br /> 17 City of Mebane officials to address any and all necessary improvement(s) to accommodate the <br /> 18 Project. Sewer services shall be provided consistent with the existing inter-local utility agreement <br /> 19 between the County and the City of Mebane. <br />
