Attachment 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 MINUTES <br /> 3 ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 4 BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> 5 VIRTUAL BUSINESS MEETING <br /> 6 DECEMBER 07, 2020 <br /> 7 7:00 p.m. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 The Orange County Board of Commissioners met for a Virtual Business Meeting on Monday, <br /> 10 December 07, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford, Mark Dorosin, <br /> 13 Sally Greene, Earl McKee, Amy Fowler, Jean Hamilton and Renee Price <br /> 14 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br /> 15 COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br /> 16 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: County Manager Bonnie Hammersley, Deputy County Manager <br /> 17 Travis Myren, Interim Clerk to the Board Greg Wilder, and Assistant Deputy Clerk II Allen <br /> 18 Coleman (All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Due to current public health concerns, the Board of Commissioners conducted a Virtual <br /> 21 Business Meeting on December 07, 2020. Members of the Board of Commissioners participated <br /> 22 in the meeting remotely. As in prior meetings, members of the public were able to view and <br /> 23 listen to the meeting via live streaming video at orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos and on <br /> 24 Orange County Gov-TV on channels 1301 or 97.6 (Spectrum Cable). <br /> 25 <br /> 26 In this new virtual process, there are two methods for public comment. <br /> 27 • Written submittals by email <br /> 28 • Speaking during the virtual meeting <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Detailed public comment instructions for each method are provided at the bottom of this <br /> 31 agenda. (Pre-registration is required.) <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Commissioner Price called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> 34 Commissioner Price acknowledged and welcomed Commissioners Hamilton and Fowler <br /> 35 to the Board, who took the oath of office earlier today. <br /> 36 Commissioners Hamilton and Fowler expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join the <br /> 37 Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), and thanked the public for voting them into office. <br /> 38 Commissioner McKee acknowledged the re-election of Commissioner Price to her third <br /> 39 term. <br /> 40 Commissioner Price acknowledged the re-election of Commissioner Dorosin to his third <br /> 41 term. <br /> 42 Commissioner Price asked the Commissioners to accept a roll call. <br /> 43 Roll call ensued. <br /> 44 Vice-Chair Price asked if the BOCC would accept a resolution of commendation for <br /> 45 former Commissioner Mark Marcoplos. <br /> 46 Commissioner Dorosin read the resolution. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 <br />
