More tangibly, for several years I was responsible for the networking and <br /> connectivity of my employer s Canadian operations. I also spent several years in commercial <br /> real estate & manufactured housing and understand that arena and how it is impacted by public <br /> works projects. <br /> Reasons for wanting to serve on this board: <br /> During the pandemic and I expect coming out of the pandemic, connectivity is critical for <br /> equitable opportunities for learning and employment. The chasm between those with high-speed <br /> internet and those without is an addressable gap that this taskforce will address. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> The recommendations of this type of task force have to be arrived at by carefully considering the <br /> needs and impacts on all stakeholders.
