I believe broadband internet service should be treated as a utility and <br /> access in rural and underserved areas must be prioritized.My interactions with broadband <br /> providers was helped with input form Orange County but Spectrum and AT&T s responses were <br /> really insufficient. I was lucky to thave the time and resources to get a successful outcome, but <br /> the process must be made easier for citizens. <br /> Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board: <br /> The Southwestern area of Orange County faces many of the same problems as the more rural <br /> northern regions, but often gets overlooked in services due to our Chapel Hill mailing address. <br /> Broadband service is an equity issue that affects all residents of Orange County and I would like <br /> to advocate for my neighbors in future broadband planning. I would like to bring my successful <br /> advocacy on behalf of my neighborhood as well as some expertise in networking and web <br /> solutions to the task force. <br /> Conflict of Interest: <br />
