40 <br /> a. Unless otherwise modified herein, parking lot <br /> landscaping shall be provide consistent with Section <br /> 6.8.7 (d) (2) of the UDO; <br /> b. Shade trees shall be provided at a ratio of one (1), one <br /> and one half-inch (1.5") minimum caliper tree for every <br /> ten (10) car parking spaces; Caliper size is measured <br /> at the time of planting; <br /> c. No more than ten parking spaces shall be permitted in <br /> any single continuous row without being interrupted by <br /> a terminal landscape island except when directly <br /> adjacent to a building. <br /> No terminal landscape islands will be required for the <br /> first row of parking spaces when directly adjacent to <br /> any side of any building; <br /> d. When required, terminal landscape islands will be a <br /> minimum of 200 square feet and may include pavers <br /> and / or decorative stone within the required 200 <br /> square feet of the landscape island; <br /> e. Each terminal landscape island will be planted with a <br /> minimum of one canopy tree, as well as shrubs and / <br /> or ground cover. <br /> 2. Development Area 1: <br /> a.
