Adoption of amendment to Joint Planning Agreement renewing annexation provisions for <br />an additional 20 years. This re-institutes the limits of the Transition areas and non- <br />encroachment into the Rural Buffer (see attached joint resolution); <br />2. Adoption of May 2000 Chapel Hill Comprehensive Plan amendments for the Northwest <br />Transition Area into the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan: and <br />3. Upcoming report from Chapel Hill staff (April 2004) on issues related to retraction of the <br />Urban Service Boundary in the Southern Triangle Transition Area. This was discussed <br />at the April 29, 2002 Assembly of Governments meeting. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): For informational purposes only. <br />
